REGISTER FOR THE NEW AND IMPROVED CHESS LEAGUE! The LASCO Chess League is back with an interesting new format. The 2007-2008 edition of the tournament will be in two divisions - 1 Chess Premier League (CPL) – (a) Each team is allowed a maximum of six players. There will be a 2100 rating bar. In other words, the average rating of the six players (or any four playing on a particular day) must not exceed 2100. (b) Each team is allowed only one titled player, whether National Master (NM), Fide Master (FM), Woman Fide Master (WFM), International Master (IM), Woman international Master (WIM) or Grandmaster (GM). (c) This titled player can be registered as a reserve.
